For this taste test we tried a #10 can of freeze dried Pork Chops from Mountain House. These are packaged in a #10 can and are not pre-cooked. Once you rehydrate these pork chops, you cook them like any other meat. We cooked them on the outdoor gas grill.

We were shocked at how many pork chops are in a single can - around 28 of them! They are rather thin, so you do have to be careful not to overcook them, and we did overcook a few but no worse than we have done at home. (LOL)

We thought they were great! The texture was completely normal, as one would expect from store-bought chops.
