I mention GCFScape 1.8.4 in the video, Nem has updated the tool and this is now GCFScape 1.8.5

One of my chat buddies just got CounterStrike: Global Offensive and asked me how to get the models into SFM... Well, nomally I would have just pointed him to one of the other tuts here and said, "go at it".
HOWEVER,
I checked my CS:GO cache files and found the both of the DXxx.vtx files were not there for any of the models.

Well, this tut will tell you what you have to do to create them and get CS:GO into SFM.
Required:

GCFScape version 1.8.4 - http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/inde...

and this text saved as a .bat file
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

@echo off
xcopy "models\*.vtx" "models_vt2\*.vt2" /s
for /r %%a in (*.vtx) do ren "%%a" "%%~na.dx90.vtx"
for /r %%b in (*.vt2) do ren "%%b" "%%~nb.dx80.vtx"
xcopy "models_vt2" "models" /s
rmdir "models_vt2" /s /q

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Copy the above text (not the -------) into a text editor and file save as mdlFix.bat (if the saved file ends up looking like this
mdlFix.bat.txt
it won't work, just rename it and delete the .txt)
Place this file in the folder as shown in the video.
I did not create this bat file and assume no responsibility for anything if something goes wrong.
