This video includes interviews at LIGHTFAIR International with multiple different LED distributors that

share feedback on LED heat sink and thermal management technology for commercial LED lighting. The

wholesale LED distributors explain the advantages of the Independence LED tube with its aircraft grade

extruded aluminum deep fin heat sink. The most common LED retrofit for the LED tube is to replace the

less efficient T12 fluorescent or T8 fluorescent tubes for LED troffer fixtures.

The Independence LED tube is also the light engine that drives the vehicle of LED fixture efficiency for

the company's LED parking garage fixtures and LED high bay fixtures. The linear form factor is ideal for

thermal management and energy saving performance. One of the LED distributors in this video talks

about the actual savings for one of his customers.

The made in USA Independence LED tubes typically outperform the LED tube and LED fixture

competition by 20% in efficiency and cost reduction. While the LED lighting industry scrambles to create

new LED fixtures that are cast aluminum, Independence LED uses the aircraft grade 6063-T6 extruded

aluminum that is less porous and more conductive and cast aluminum. This results in LED fixtures with

the lowest surface temperature, the highest efficiency performance, the strongest 10 year warranty

protection, and the lowest cost to end users, all with made in America quality assurance.
