This computer-generated "fly-through" video of how the Middle Tennessee State University Science Building will look upon completion. It animates the plans for the building's interior spaces and shows how the structure will change the landscape of our campus. As of April 2013, the project is about 30 percent complete. The construction schedule is now focused on the building's exterior skin to include roofing, metal panels, air barrier waterproofing, glazing and masonry. The first of four phases is progressing with interior systems to include HVAC, plumbing and drywall. Turner Construction Co. is on schedule to be substantially complete with construction by the summer of 2014; final completion, commissioning, equipment installations and administrative move-in are planned for the fall of 2014. The building should be fully operational, occupied and ready for classes for the 2015 spring semester.
