This video shows my unboxing of the Limited Edition of the Adidas Copa Mundial soccer boot and its comparison with the Pantofola d'oro Lazzarini soccer boot. As mentioned in the video, the white limited edition copas are actually about $60 CAD more expensive than the black version. The black ones were $150 before taxes at the Adidas store here in Toronto at Yonge and Dunadas so I actually wanted to buy the black ones but they did not have them in my size.
Some of you may not like the huge price jump just for the change in colour but I thought the same way until I actually took a look at them in person. They are stunning. My concern is that they will clearly not stay white but for the first few games, I'll look good in them at least! =-)
The Pantofolos are still my favourite boots but as mentioned in the video they are not durable at all. If I was rich, I would keep on buying them every year because that is how long they last for, for me. But the copas are tried and tested and they are very durable.
