Lesson Plan for this Video: Most 7th grade students have a hard time opening their P.E. locker. I spend too much time trying to teach each one individually so I thought why not make a video on how to open your P.E. locker that I could give to the 7th grade teachers and have them show the video to their students the day before we hand out lockers.

Video Description: This video shows how to open a P.E. locker that has a twist lock on it. It introduces the terms clockwise and counterclockwise.

Content Area: Physical Education

Instructional Objective: After viewing this video students will be able to open their P.E. locker and know the terms clockwise and counterclockwise.

Learner Description: Every year 7th grade students have the hardest time opening their P.E. locker. They already have anxiety being in the boys locker room and are afraid of not being able to open up their locker. Students will watch the video the day before and will also be instructed on how to open up their locker. They are given a chance to see how to open a locker correctly and ask any questions they might have before they have to try it themselves. Now they feel more comfortable going into the locker room and are ready to try and open their locker.
