My apologies, but in an attempt to cover all of comicdom's wily ladies, one must eventually touch on the Penthouse Comic girls. They aren't created in quite the same way as other superheroines. Case in point -- Hericane. Woo, woo! Hericane came to us straight from the pages of Bob Guccione's soft core magazine, appearing first in 1994. What can we say, except that she got her powers from a TNT explosion, combined with oral sex. That's right. Things work differently in the superhero worlds of Penthouse. The daughter of a TV magnate, cheerleader Emily Feldman watched as superhero Captain Adventure was captured in a block of ice and surrounded by TNT bombs. In the process of saving him, Emily melts just enough ice to reach his groin area, and is, er, taking advantage of Captain Adventure when the bombs go off. Explosions and premature ejaculation from the ice block turn her into a duplicate of Captain Adventure, or rather gives her his powers but transforms her from a pert blonde into a statuesque brunette, and definitely still a female. Music is from Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 2 in D, Op. 36.
