Issue of Sales
Campaign of Japanese Incinerator to Malaysia 27 June 2014, Independent Media E-wave Tokyo

Japan has been very enthusiastic to promote incineration
technology and plants to our neighbouring South-east Asian countries. The Japanese government, Prime Minister, Major Municipalities
like Tokyo Metropolitan Government and plant makers are working
together very eagerly to sell the Japanese incinerators to those
countries, and it has caused the big social problems there,
involving its Parliament, local communities and residents.

In June 26th of 2014, 4 members of Malaysian delegation including
a Member of Parliament have arrived Tokyo from Kuala Lumpur and
visited several incineration plants of central Tokyo area such as
Chitose Plant (Setagaya) incineration plant.

On June 27th, the Malaysian delegation visited Environmental Research
Institute (Meguro, Tokyo) and discussed with Teiichi AOYAMA, Komichi
IKEDA and Atsushi TAKAOTRI about the various problems concerning
incineration of waste.

After finishing the discussion and hearing, the interview with
the delegation was held by E-wave Tokyo, one of the independent media
in Japan, operated by Aoyama and Ikeda.
The interviewer is the Komichi Ikeda, the joint representative of
the independent media E-wave Tokyo.
