Under the direction of Cheryl Baker, the Nevada County Concert Band performs at the 2nd of 3 Picnic Pops Concerts held annually each summer at Pioneer Park in Nevada City, California.

"1915 March" is composed by B. C. Bridges, and edited by Cheryl Baker Woldseth. The announcer is Jim Kerr. Many thanks to B. C.'s son Dave Bridges for reintroducing the music to the NCCBand. Gordon Pipkin is the reader of Dave's letter. In a different conversation, Dave revealed that he didn't know his father ever played the clarinet, let alone had composed some tunes for the band!

This 7/23/2006 concert was themed "Step in Time," and featured an extended band. In July, the NCCBand hosts a "musician invitational" event, and invites band/percussion players to join for the day (including a morning rehearsal and sheet music in advance). There were 31 guest musicians joining the 42 NCCBand members at this event.

Many city bands combined to create the Nevada County Concert Band, but by far the NCCBand is most directly descended from the Grass Valley Band.
