As is the case every week, injuries piled up in Week 2 of the young 2012 NFL season. Among the notables to go down to injury were Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez, who left in the first quarter with an ankle injury, Redskins defenders Adam Carriker (knee) and Brian Orakpo (pectoral), Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) of the Super Bowl champion Giants, Blaine Gabbert (hamstring), and Drew Brees (leg), who fortunately for Saints fans was able to stay in the game. SB Nation's Matt Ufford has the report.
