So apart from the link at the end, what did this video have to do with collections? I learnt nothing other than I really want some ice cream. Worst marketing I have seen in a while, come on! I really love G+ and collections - heavy user - yet I think I have marketed it better just talking to friends about it.

I stopped using Google+ recently. I used to subscribe to a service that showcases users' photos covering a variety of different subjects. I chose the nature thread and I was offered a stream of new photos: mountains, trees, flowers, birds, animals etc. which updates throughout the day. It was lovely. There are some really talented photographers out there. However, every now and then - in this nature thread - a photo of a scantily clad woman would pop up. It had nothing to do with 'nature', but the photo was often tagged as 'nature'. When clicking on the photo there would often be links included to other sites which supplied 'sexy girls', 'hot babes' etc. I reported these photos to Google+ but nothing happened. This repeats... again and again. Mountains, trees, birds, sexy woman, mountains, landscapes, trees, sexy woman with large breasts, flowers, mountains etc..... This objectification made me so angry! To see my own gender being sold to me like this infuriated me. It was NEVER men - always women. The same sexualisation (and much worse) appears on YouTube. Women on YouTube are constantly sexually objectified, with innumerous sick videos being offered of rape scenes, gagging scenes, murder and sex scenes from movies or 'pranks' where women are being objectified or sexually degraded. Many times I've come close to uninstalling my YouTube app because of the rampant misogyny it chooses to ignore. Google hates women.
