RHP implementation in Serbia took a big step forward in the months of September and October 2014 when first housing solutions were delivered to selected beneficiary families hence marking the concrete beginning of implementation of the first Serbian RHP project.
Altogether four projects have been approved for Serbia by the RHP Assembly of Donors to-date.
So far, since the delivery started in September, 25 families have received housing assistance in the form of delivery of packages of building material (each worth about EUR 9 000), which will allow the families to finish the construction of their houses. These packages were delivered to families living in the municipalities of Zemun, Stara Pazova and Indjija, all close to the capital Belgrade.
The implementation continued with 100 more packages that will be delivered, as well as through provision of 70 prefabricated houses.
