Amelia is an advertising and digital veteran, having started out as one of the very first WPP Marketing Fellows in 1997, and choosing to specialize in digital. Her WPP career took her from London to the U.S. Where she lived for 5 years working for Ogilvy Interactive. Since moving back to London, Amelia has been a Strategy Director at Naked and most recently was Head of Strategy and Innovation at VCCP. It was at VCCP that Amelia brought together her knowledge of digital technologies and advertising planning to create real-time strategies and ideas for the likes of O2, London 2012 and Compare The Market. Amelia has written extensively for both her blog "Move Pretty Fast" and for publications such as the FT and The Spectator. She was awarded a place on the Part Time Power List 2013 and has also been named Planner of the Year by Campaign magazine.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
