There were unbelievable developments in the murder trial of Mechele Linehan Thursday. Not only did Linehan's husband take the stand, but the defense asked the judge to acquit the entire case. Judge Volland is going to take it into advisement until Monday when court resumes. Defense attorneys say the prosecution has no case.
Kent Leppink was killed on May 2, 1996. He was then-Mechele Hughes's former fiancée. John Carlin is the man who did it, but prosecutors say Linehan masterminded the entire plot.
