No because we can take care of our self!!

Yeah sure in a small way (you could always just buy two drinks) but when the guy with no control and/or concern for his own health starts having health issues is the government to just stand by and say to the public "Well it's his own fault for buying the drink" or would they look better (and feel better if they do indeed care about the people) stepping in now and not having as many health issues.

Banning drinks of that size won't do anything. You can't ban someone from buying two smaller sized drinks...

As far as I can tell you dont need it. I see no reason for it, clean your teeth and youre good. Its your own responsibility. The only people I can see it benefiting is children whose parents are so shit that their kids cant/wont clean their teeth. And even then, how is the water going into their mouths? Kids rarely drink water. My area has no fluoride and theres is absolutely no noticable problems with teeth, mine are "perfect" as my dentist said.
pankomputerek
They should just give up pure fricking H2O.

Skinny people in America? what has this country come to....
SweetNightmare369
Yes, its fine to tell people what's unhealthy and that's good but what if they banned junk food or made it illegal for you to have sex with someone? They are banning large drinks, which really isn't there place, yes you can get refills if you are going to stay and eat but that's not always the case.
Filo011
don't you get refills? and telling people wat is unhealthy is a good thing... just like telling people they shouldn't smoke, eat junk food or have sex without a condom... there not stopping u from buying 2 cups of soda if u really wanted more
SweetNightmare369
I think the big deal is they are having someone make a decision for them, that is actually very personal. Imagine if someone just straight up snatched your cup and replaced it with a smaller one then told you it was unhealthy for you to drink more than that.
