The GreenHorns Ri3D team reveals their robot for FRC 2017 STEAMWORKS: Blinky!
This bot got tired of the Pac-Man couple eating all the pac-dots and decided to take matters into his own hands. Gobbling up fuel better than any Pac-Man ever could, this bot weighs in at 103 lbs and fits inside the 36”x40”x24” volume constraint. Blinky shoots for the high goal, can drop off the gears, can climb, and also has a great personality for any single robots out there.

We are an Ri3D team from North Dakota State University (NDSU). A Bison Robotics club at NDSU was started by former members of FRC 4607 (C.I.S. from Becker, MN). Our club participates and volunteers for numerous robotics events throughout Minnesota and NDSU including FLL coaching, FRC team mentoring, and FRC regional and national volunteering. Our team consists entirely of college students and we have about 20 different FRC teams represented on the GreenHorns. This is our third year participating in the Ri3D competition. We work inside Becker High School and have full access to a welding and woodworking lab. Our program only continues to grow and we have many passionate members who can’t get enough of robotics! If you want to learn more about our club check out our website at ndsubisonrobotics.org!
