Education for nearly one million children in Nepal is in jeopardy. The two major earthquakes and aftershocks that hit the country and surrounding areas devastated over 24,000 classrooms. In the severely-affected districts of Gorkha, Sindhupalchok and Nuwakot, it’s estimated that more than 90 per cent of schools have been destroyed.

Urgent action is being taken to provide temporary learning spaces and repair damaged school buildings. Find out how you can support our efforts to address the education crisis: http://supportunicef.org/nepal
