This Beat started out whit me doing some sampling in reason. the snare came from smashing two books together and sampling it, the clap came from me clapping my hands and then sampling it. The shaker was made from a plastic bag, the wired loop sound came from two aerosol cans and then running it into recycle. Once I did that I imported the sample into my track. In order form me to lock it to the tempo I needed to time stretch the loop to the grid. If i needed it to be faster iI just shorten the clip by holding down the ctrl button on the keyboard and moving the clip in or out at the same time will help you lock the loop to the sequence. After that i started to build the track. I imported a guitar loop, because I did not know the tempo I used the same method used with the loop before to lock it into my track. This is like a west coast style but most rappers could rap to it.
