This small studio space was designed and built in order to create a space in which I could isolate myself with my art and work on the process of deconstructing canvas by unweaving manually. This process is very time consuming and requires much attention with no distractions, hence the isolation of the artist in a small intimate space. As for the decision to use canvas as the material; Canvas is traditionally used as a material that holds art in the second dimension. By taking only the canvas and unweaving it, I take it into the third dimension through installation, so that the canvas no longer just holds art but rather expresses art. The studio also transforms into a small gallery in which the product of the unwoven canvas is displayed. The video shows images of the opening night of the gallery.
