Suspect Impersonates Police Officer in Harris County Robbery

HARRIS COUNTY, TX -- Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office are searching for the suspect responsible for an early November robbery at a recycling business in Harris County, Texas.

On November 8, 2013, Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a recycling business located in the 10300 block of Antoine in reference to a robbery. The victim reported that at approximately 9:30 am the suspect, impersonating a police officer, approached him outside of the business at gunpoint, demanding cash. The suspect led the victim into the business' office and surrendered the contents of the safe. The suspect took the cash and the victim's car keys, fleeing the scene in the victim's 2003 Dodge Truck.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect inside of the business.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his early 30's, standing approximately 5'7" tall, weighing between 180-190 lbs. with black hair and a black mustache. At the time of the offense, the suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, black sunglasses, a black windbreaker with "POLICE" across the back, and black pants.
