!!!VACUUM EXPERIMENT!!! (HOW TO MAKE A VACUUM CHAMBER) SCIENCE EXPERIMENT

Crazy Chris is checking out vacuums and shows you a nifty vacuum experiment you can do right at home!

Objective: To understand what is a vacuum.

Materials Needed:
~ Paper Plate
~ 1 Sheet of Paper Towel
~ Plastic Cup
~ Water

Step 1) Fill your container with water till its just over flowing.

Step 2) Fold the paper towel into a square and then place this on your plate and then flip this over on top of the container.

Step 3) Pick up the container and flip it right side up.

HOW DOES IT WORKS:
When you flip the jar upside down the water stays in the jar because air cant get into the jar and push down on the water. The paper towel pulls some of the water out of the jar and creates an area where is there is almost no molecules, which creates whats known as a low vacumm. This is why the pizza trey stays attached to the jar as you flip back up. In fact if you let this sit for a while you will see a bubble and inside the bubble theres a low vacuum. Your vaccum cleaner creates a low vaccum effect when a fan pulls air out of a tube. This causes the air pressure inside the tube to become lower then the atmopsheric pressure outside. The atmospheric pressures pushes its way into the vacuum to fill the tube with surrounding air, and as it does, it pushes the debris through the tube and into a container. Your vauum cleaner doesnt suck but acctually blows debris into the container. A true vaccum is an area where there is absolutly no molecules or matter present, so you might think that space is a true vacuum. Acctually space has tiny amounts of molecules of gas and dust paticles through out its verious areas. Even the most remote areas between galaxcies still have tiny particles of gas and dust in them. Theres acctually no way to create a true vacuum. Even if we were able to completely remove all molecules from an area, it would still have matter in it, such as photons, gravitons as well as other quantom materials, which would still fill the area.
