First off: no disrespect was meant towards Twitter, I had no idea that this was a Twitter show, just that it was a comedy show in Williamsburg. I guess by trying to be edgy I was actually unfunny, so fuck me.
About the homophobia: obviously MDE/Sam are not homophobic, in fact Sam is an FTM transsexual (not kidding) who's fucked all kinds of pansexual beasts and ugly little dykes. In fact as I am writing this, I am getting fucked by an asexual crippled Mujer with a feeldoe. I am about to stop so that I can hop on a Sybian and administer heavy oral to a mentally disabled black male furry.
Gay people should be allowed to marry, shouldn't be treated as second-class citizens, yadda yadda. When transsexuals vandalize cop cars because they were the victims of some sort of police ineptitude or injustice--I forgot the details of the story--but that's a tale of justice in-line with the spirit of resistance and self-reliance The Founding Fathers (patriarchy alert) had, no shit. Queers prospering and not being messed with is a good thing.
However, when you can shut down a conversation, crush discourse, discredit someone and ruin their career, simply by labeling them as a racist or accusing them of hate speech, it's time for you to die. Preferably by having a big badass White Hetero Male motherfucker like me kick you in the spine wearing football cleats.
A perfect example of this would be the short-haired piggy who got in my face after the performance. Inside the venue, I was totally polite to her and told her I'd hear her out without making fun of her. Instead of being calm and using a normal voice like I was, she just screamed in my face a bunch of vague nonsense about how I'm a piece of shit for using the word "faggot" to be funny. She didn't even see the full anti-homo set, she can be seen walking out two minutes in, after I used the word "faggot" for the first time.
I told her I understood, was sorry for upsetting her, and disagreed with her. The clip you can see at the tail end of this video is after that, when we were outside and she was talking to her friends about me while I was within earshot.
This sort of red vs. blue, kneejerk us vs. them bullshit is the reason why most of the time We have a circle-jerk team war and not an exchange of ideas. Several people have talked to me about this and we were able to have a nice conversation where I yielded some ground and admitted the content was a little insensitive and indeed lame/not funny. Those were the people who didn't start the conversation off by throwing verbal hand-grenades.
To the other people who think the way to progress as a society is by standing on a soap box, teary-eyed, wearing a crown of thorns and shouting "RACIST ABUSER VICTIMIZER RAPIST WHITE FUCK PIECE OF SHIT!":
