Thanks for watching the video and taking taking the time to see what this is all about. The We Are Presbyterian* Project is not a call to create a new organization or structure, but rather an invitation to share, reflect and dream about the possibilities that God may have set for the future of the Presbyterian Church (USA). With a variety of groups diligently striving to answer the questions about our structure and ecclesiastic future, often times important voices are left out . . . Yours. This project is simply a way for people who might not otherwise be heard or known of to be part of the conversation/s.
We begin - and possible end - with a one day event on June 7, 2011 with eight hours of streaming videos made by Presbyterians from all walks of life and ministry contexts. Through the words and interaction that is sparked, this time is meant to prod our imagination, encourage conversation and build up this particular body of Christ called the the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Please consider submitting a video and/or encouraging others to do so by MAY 21, 2011. For if we are to discover where God is leading, we will only do so together. So grab your camera or webcam, share your wisdom with the church and and I'll "see" you on June 7th.
* This project has no official connection to the General Assembly or any other judicatory of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
