"The last space shuttle to grace the skies, Endeavour, ended two decades of glorious flights Friday, wowing onlookers as it descended onto a runway at Los Angeles International Airport atop a modified Boeing 747 jet at 12:51 p.m. PT, Sep 21, 2012." CNN. To see the final landing of the last NASA shuttle was truly incredible and bitter sweet. An interesting twist to the story is when the shuttle did a fly by near the Space X headquarters near LAX, Elon Musk's company that has launched the first successful private shuttle to an international space station. A passing of the torch in a sense. I can only hope NASA comes back in the future with new and improved shuttles.
