Here are some interesting excerpts which we have not aired before, from the energetic talk we had with Greta and Svante Thunberg at COP-24 in Katowice, Poland in December 2018.
YouTube comments on the original video had already pointed out that Svante and Greta Thunberg are relatives of Svante Arrhenius, who back in 1896 was the first scientist to calculate the effect of global temperature rise due to human emissions. The relationship was actually mentioned in the talk, but did not make the cut in the original video. But now here it is.
Ironic isn't is? Greta and Svante Thunberg are 3rd and 4th cousins of a scientist who was formerly Director of the Nobel Institute, and was the scientist credited with first calculating the damage that our CO2 emissions would do to the climate.
A word about out special guest' Luisa Neubauer who asks the question in this video. Luisa quickly became one of the leading figures of Fridays for Future in Germany after the conference! You will find her standing next to or behind Greta in the video coverage.
