Johnny Campbell and The Detours reunited after more than 30 years, to perform the johnny Rivers version of "Memphis" at John's 50th Birthday Bash. This was held in the Civic Chambers, Manchester Street, Christchurch. Unfortunately the classic old building had to be demolished as a result of the 2010 earthquake.
