Originally aired as a Movie of the Week in 1969. Co-starring Bob Crane, Fred Gwynne, Sue Lyon, David Wayne, Billy De Wolfe.
It was filmed as a play in front of a live audience. It aired in color. This is a press screening copy, 16mm excerpt. There were no DVDs or digital at that time to send to the press, i.e., TV stations, newspapers, etc.
Bob Crane (Hogan's Heroes) knew of the honor it was to co-star with the likes of Miss Helen Hayes and Miss Lillian Gish. He purposely used Robert Crane in the credits. I toured with Bob Crane in his last years doing the dinner theatre circuit. He was so proud of this movie of the week and he admitted to keeping in touch with both Miss Gish and Miss Hayes via mail and occasional telephone calls..
