The debate is a light-hearted approach to a serious issue. In the last 20 years an increasing number of kids have been driven to school. An entire generation, or two, of Kiwis have missed out on the fun and the important life skills of walking or cycling independently. Under this regime, Kiwis health is ultimately the biggest loser.
The Car- Free Comedy Showdown was an opportunity to reflect, in a light hearted way, on how we travel in Wellington. It was recorded on Saturday 22nd September 2012 at Soundings Theatre, Te Papa, Wellington, New Zealand.
