The UMKC Truman Center, in partnership with the United Nations Association of Greater Kansas City, the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum, Greater Kansas City People to People and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, is pleased to present an address by Ambassador James McLay, New Zealand's permanent representative to the United Nations. The speech, a memorial to UN Peacekeepers who lost their lives on peacekeeping missions in 2010, took place on May 18, 2011 at the Truman Presidential Library and Museum in Independence, Mo.
