We caught up with Representative Judy Chu from California, a convention speaker, at the Democratic National Convention. Chu was the first Chinese-American woman elected to Congress. She discusses the concern many moms have that politicians aren't listening and can't understand what what their everyday life is like, education the effects of No Child Left Behind, and the art of compromising on Capitol Hill.
Behind the issues being debated by politicians are real moms and real families who will be affected by their policy decisions. Moms Matter 2012 aims to give voices to moms throughout the election cycle by making sure politicians hear from moms across the country. Learn more at http://www.cafemom.com/momsmatter
