Rich and the Poor Boys is a blues band featuring front man Rockin' Rich. Rich and the poor boys perform extensively in southern Ontario at festivals, street dances and beer halls..Rich and the Poor Boys are known for their great cast of musicians that make up the band. This original version of rich and the poor boys is made up of Gary 'guitar" Green on guitar, James Belardo on bass, Sergio Faloutico on drums +Herve Bassett on keyboards. They are playing the south side shuffle a three day outdoor festival in Port Credit featuring a fantastic street dance featuring 30 live bands. Here the band performs " Sugar Coated Love " a little Texas Swing song written by Lazy Lester. Here Gary shows he can swing with the best of them. Sergio & James lock into to lay down a solid rhythm and bedrock that allows the song to rock thru the roof. Rockin's blues harp does the song justice and finds the groove that brings us to Texas and back. The festival has featured the Funk Brothers, Buddy Guy, Fabulous Thunderbirds. Buddy Guy said if he ever needs a second guitar in his band he is gonna look up Gary guitar Green.
