For the past 15 years, two dozens indigenous tribes from Peru, Colombia and Brazil have met annually for a series of competitions in the middle of the Amazon jungle.
The 'Amazon Olympics' isn't made up your western games like basketball and baseball, these games are based on skills that people need to survive: swimming and canoeing in the caiman and piranha infested rivers are just two of the events.
Soccer and volleyball are some of the more familiar sports at the games, where the winning community takes home the $3,000 grand prize.
But the 'Amazon Olympics' may be seeing their end.
