Mystic Escape enlisted the party king of the city, purveyor of all things naughty and nocturnal, aka Ganzoury, to take charge of their latest endeavor, Castle of Dreams, and he didn't disappoint, turning Manial Palace upside down and inside out with one mystical, magical, wickedly wild evening. Cairo's high society darlings, decked out in full length gowns and suits, all headed to the transformed palatial estate to witness a night like no other. Channeling Alice in Wonderland, the garden was littered with oversized teacups and twelve-foot-tall roses, fairy lights adorned all the hanging tree branches, and colorful cocktails with crazy names were being served up every second on the second. The stage was taken over by flying acrobats, twisting and twirling through a suspended hula hoop, and two uber-flexible contemporary dancers we suspect came straight from So You Think You Can Dance, as the crowd watched transfixed. Finishing off the night was none other than deckmaster Sharam Jey, who threw the crowd into a frenzy with his wild, pounding beats. Oh, and there was a full-sized, glowing and glittering Cinderella carriage. Just because.
