Three Thousand years ago, King David made Jerusalem his capital and Jews have maintained a presence in Jerusalem ever since. Since the 1840's, Jews have comprised the largest single group of Jerusalem's inhabitants and, since the 1880's, Jews have been a majority of its population.  Jerusalem has never been the capital of any nation other than ancient and modern Israel.

On May 1, 2012, why did Cleric and Spokesperson for Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi (during the campaign) claim Jerusalem (Al Quds) as the capital of Egypt?!

UNBELIEVABLE...

This video examines the Obama Administration's position towards Jerusalem - repeatedly ignoring Israel's ancient and modern claim to the city as her obvious and rightful capital.

John Brennan - On May 1, 2011, the Obama Whitehouse Security Adviser remarks on "Al Quds" (prefers Arabic name over actual name of the city) ...

Victoria Nuland - On March 28, 2012, the Obama State Dept. Spokeswoman refuses to answer the question and repeating the phrase "final status agreements" ...

Jay Carney - On July 26, 2012, the Obama Administration Press Secretary refuses to answer whether "Tel Aviv or Jerusalem" is designated by the US Presidential administration as capital of Israel.

During the production of this video, at the DNC on September 5, 2012, and for the FIRST time during his presidency, President Obama actually acknowledges Jerusalem as Capital...

But the decision was hotly contested by the democrat delegates at the convention and clearly DID NOT meet the required 2/3rds majority floor vote.

Less than 24 hours later, around noon the next day Sep. 6, 2012, Patrick Ventrell, Acting Deputy Spokesperson gave the Daily Press Briefing in Washington, DC and clearly invoked the Obama policy that "the status of Jerusalem is an issue that should be resolved in final status negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians"...

"Should be resolved?"

Thankfully, presidential candidate Mitt Romney's position is crystal clear... Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and he pledges often to stand WITH our ally and AGAINST our enemies.

UCI makes this statement: "Disrespecting Israel by not acknowledging their legal, ancient capital, Jerusalem, and immediately moving the US Embassy shows weakness to enemies of the free world and sacrifices legal and moral unity with our strongest ally in the war on terror."
