Scene from Victor Fleming's The Virginian (1929), starring Gary Cooper as The Virginian and Walter Huston as Trampas. Based on Owen Wister's novel and play, this is Gary Cooper's first all-talkie film and a hugely influential Western which put in place the themes, characters, plot and visuals that Westerns would follow for the next 40 years.
