I read somewhere that Ink Me is trip-hop, but I think it might actually be closer to hopscotch, with Max fantastically contorting his frame around a chalk-marked playground and having to pick up random ideas, sounds and instruments on the way, that he must then turn into a 'song'. Max of course carries it all off with some aplomb, as you'll of course know if you're already thrilling to the outre-pop sounds on his Some Friend You Turned Out To Be album
