EVE Online is now free to play! Here's a Buddy Invite link to get yourself 250,000 bonus skill points to kickstart your EVE adventure:

A Titan accidentally jumps onto the field while every major power in EVE is watching, turning a minor engagement into a gigantic orgy of shiny lasers and death.

Once the battle was fully engaged there wasn't much for non-interdictor subcaps to do besides whore on super kills, so I tried to get some cool-looking FRAPS footage of the ~10 trillion isk worth of ships duking it out. I didn't fraps the whole thing, but for this video I sped up the playback when tidi kicked in to try and compensate for it.

Enjoy the shiny pew pew.

- The Devil Plays a Smoking Trumpet
- House of Fire
- Fire Nation
- To Glory
- Fear the Resurrection
(all Two Steps from Hell)

My best dollar value estimate of the stuff on field would be as follows:
- Committed to field: ~350,000-400,000 USD
- Killed: ~30,000 USD

I won't be uploading a full comms video because a) it's incredibly long and b) opsec! Also a lot of it is us going afk to make food while waiting for target locks.

I've given up on uploading this to eve-files, sorry. It simply will not go; it gets to 100% and then starts back again at zero and will re-upload all day if I let it, but never actually makes it there. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to message me.

Thanks to CCP for posting my vid on Facebook and Mittens for frontpaging it on http://themittani.com

My computer specs, for those wondering, are as follows:
- i7 3.4GHz
- 32GB RAM
- GTX 680 4GB
My framerate during the main fight was about 10, remember this video is sped up! I don't really think my PC was being taxed all that hard though, fps drop was likely more due to server-side load. I tried dropping graphics to minimum at one point and turning effects off and it made no impact on my fps.

When autoplay is enabled, a suggested video will automatically play next.
