On May 21, 2013, Stanford's Arthur and Toni Rembe Rock Center for Corporate Governance hosted the discussion "The Bankers' New Clothes: What's Wrong with Banking and What to Do About It." The discussion was led by Stanford Graduate School of Business Professor Anat Admati and focused on her new book "The Bankers' New Clothes." In the book, Admati argues that we can have a safer and healthier banking system without sacrificing any of the benefits of the system, and at essentially no cost to society.
