An instrumental for a change. My own arrangement of a slow air written by the great fiddler James Scott Skinner in memory of his friend Major-General Sir Hector Archibald Macdonald 1853-1903 (K.C.B., D.S.O., A.D.C., L.L.D.) A true Scottish hero who joined the army as a private and rose through the ranks on merit alone to become Major-General.
