Irish rugby star and GOAL Patron, Jamie Heaslip, travelled to visit and work at some of GOAL's projects in Kolkata, India, during the summer of 2011, to see the impact of GOAL's work with the poor first-hand.
During his stay, he helped migrant families make bricks in 35-degree heat in the slums of Kolkata, work that he acknowledged was probably the toughest manual labour that he had ever undertaken.
This piece was aired on Sky Sports News on September 14th, 2011, during the Rugby World Cup.
