This video is the first of a two-part series exposing the horrific animal cruelty, injuries and deaths at the 2007 PRCA Steer Roping Finals in Hobbs, Lea County, New Mexico.
This first part looks at the brutality in the arena, and exposes the psychological abuse of children brought in by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America to witness the animal abuse, injuries and deaths.
SHARK is pleased to announce that following the release of this video, the national headquarters of the Boys and Girls Club of America advised its member clubs to avoid taking their children to steer busting events, and to carefully consider before taking them to any rodeos.
The sponsorship of Bank of America is exposed, as well as the support of New Mexico Governor and presidential candidate Bill Richardson, who has given tens of millions of dollars to this corrupt and deadly industry.
The second video of the two-part series (to be ready approximately Nov. 12) reveals the prolonged suffering of injured animals, hidden and left to slowly die without veterinary care.
