Dr Jordan Nguyen is a unique visionary and innovator who is unlike any academic you have ever met. He has had a great interest in the VR field since the mid 90s, and now looks to how it might improve quality of life, particularly for people with disability. For his PhD in Biomedical Engineering he developed a mind-controlled smart wheelchair, for high-level physical disability. His work is often featured on TV and over the past 7 years he has tutored engineering Masters subjects at UTS around artificial intelligence design and biomedical instrumentation. Jordan is a professional keynote speaker, the Founder and CEO of Psykinetic where he creates futuristic technologies for the purposes of improving quality of life for people with disability, a non-Executive Director at the Australian Design Centre, Co-Founder of Remarkable - Australia's first technology incubator for disability, Technology Research Manager at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, and is on the board of the NSW Med Tech Knowledge Hub. In addition to these, Jordan is currently writing, researching and co-creating TV documentaries he will soon be presenting about the future of integrations between humans and technology.
