This is a megaphone I made out of scraps of copper pipe and a plastic drinks bottle. I made it so i can amplify the volume of my phone when I listen to audio books or music when working in my shed so i don't have to wear earphones that keep snagging on everything.
It does work the camera audio is not great as i had to use the old camera to film it. the sound is a bit tinny but its loud enough and now carries much further.
The phone is a Samsung galaxy mini in a fake leather flip case so the touch screen is protected from the clip. this clip slips on and of the phone easily if you need to use the phone.
Once you have a playlist going you just clip the megaphone on to the phone over the microphone and aim the megaphone till you get the best acoustics from your surroundings.
