Jonathan Dickinson:

Jonathan Dickinson is an iboga provider, writer, and organizer with a longstanding passion for ceremony, and the healing and inspirational qualities of visionary medicines. Since 2009, Jonathan has been helping to facilitate with iboga in ceremonial and clinical settings throughout North America. He organized the most recent gathering of the Global Ibogaine Therapist Alliance (GITA) in Vancouver in October 2012. He currently sits on the board of Directors for GITA, as well as the board of Pangea Biomedics, an ibogaine-assisted detox center based primarily in Nayarit, Mexico.

Laura Shapiro:

Laura Shapiro is determined to change how we look at addiction. Through her personal experiences with ibogaine she has become a strong advocate for its ability to provide a unique path to recovery from addictions and compulsive behaviors. One of her great passions and pleasures in life is exploring the connections between expanded states of consciousness in any form and the nature of reality connected to it.

Laura will present on her investigation toward gaining US religious status for Iboga/ine as a sacrament in the EU recognized, Slovenia-based religion known as The Sacrament of Transition.

Laura is currently working on her associate degree in Comparative Religion at Santa Rosa Junior College, with plans to complete her BA at CIIS and to pursue a graduate degree there too.

Ben De Loenen:

Benjamin directed, produced, and composed the documentary Ibogaine, Rite of Passage (2004) as a master’s thesis project for his film degree. Making the documentary sparked his interest in ibogaine and prompted him to further study that ethnobotanical. He founded ICEERS in 2009 with the object of integrating ayahuasca and iboga into occidental society as therapeutic tools. He crafts the agenda of ICEERS and motivates its employees and volunteers through his tireless efforts. Benjamin has given many lectures and screenings at events in different parts of the world and in October of 2010 he organized an international Ibogaine conference at the Catalan Health Ministry in Barcelona, and hosted the 2nd International Treatment Provider Conference.

In 2012 the documentary ‘Experience BWITI: Renascence of the Healed’ was pre-screened in Vancouver, Canada and will be presented at the Psychedelic Science Conference 2013 in Oakland; now he is developing a new documentary about the therapeutic potential of ayahuasca. Since 2012, Benjamin also serves GITA (Global Ibogaine Therapist Alliance) as member of the board of directors.
