The Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP) is a NYC school-based program that provides comprehensive educational, counseling and intervention services to school communities regarding healthy teen relationships and abuse prevention. RAPP is the largest abuse prevention program in the United States and has been honored for its preventive work through youth education. In addition to its school-based services throughout the school year, RAPP offers a summer Peer Leadership program training students to be peer educators in their communities.

During the 2012 summer program, the Peer Leaders of Bronx-based Harry S Truman High School, created a series of Public Service Announcements addressing teen dating abuse, parent/child communication, and healthy relationships. With the understanding that peer leaders have a unique ability to reach other youth, they set an example for their peers by modeling socially responsible behavior.
