Depth of field was turned on at the midpart for demonstration. Image on the left is stochastically rasterized at resolution of 5120x2880 and scaled to final display size with a 3.3 pixels wide separable gaussian filter. Image on the right is rendered in traditional fashion using a single sample per pixel.
Shading is done before sampling which makes the effect run in realtime on a Geforce 8800 GTS 512 even with the huge framebuffer.
