Country Gardens is an English folk tune collected by Cecil Sharp and arranged for piano in 1918 by Percy Grainger. The tune was used in 1728 in The Quaker's Opera and for the song The Vicar of Bray.

The tune and the Percy Aldridge Grainger arrangement for piano and orchestra is a favourite with school orchestras, and other performances of the work include morris dancing. Jimmie Rodgers sang a well-known version.

Comedian Allan Sherman used this melody as the tune for his 1963 song, "Here's To the Crabgrass".

I've recorded both parts of the duet and layered it on my new Casio AP-620 Celviano. Cool!! You'll note there's some timing issues etc, this is due to me getting used to recording and layering tracks.
