This is a 1998 Windstar that I will be selling. It is stuck in first gear because of defective solenoid(s)in the transmission. This is good for anyone who has this problem who can't fix it or does not have the money to get it fixed. It can still be driven in second gear with just a burst of gas from the gas pedal enough to create inertia. You must use 2nd because unlike 1st, it contains a gear like a bicycle. When you stop putting force on it, it keep going. I intentionally left the gas on "E" to show how this method actual uses LESS gas than a normal shifting transmission.
