John Cage's 4'33" complete. Performed by Philharmonia Britannica conducted by Peter Fender. Live recording on 01/11/2008 in St Columba's Church, Pont Street, London SW1. Cage's piece is called 4'33" because that was the length of the first performance - the duration is left open to the performers. Given that there were pauses between the three movements, and that there's some applause at the end, it's quite odd that I took quite close on 4'33" to perform this!
