Developed and published by Players Software in 1988.

I owned the C64 version of this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wKZbv...) and I was surprised to learn that an Amiga version existed. I could never really explain why I liked the C64 version; I guess the SID soundtrack had a lot to do with it. Even then, it would be a stretch to call it a classic.

The Amiga version is completely devoid of any of the charm that the C64 version may have had. For a start off, there's no in-game music and the only sound effects seem to be "clunk" and "boom".

The non-existent plot requires you to jump on the heads of punks to kill them and to "rescue" citizens by completing 4 different reaction-based puzzles.

In terms of gameplay, Joe has an energy bar that counts down if you touch the punks, although you're safe if you're jumping. This mechanic is not in the C64 version where you were invulnerable but had a limited number of keys to let you through the various locked doors in the game (the Amiga version ditches the key concept).

You'd be forgiven for thinking that I suddenly do a video jump-cut to the ending screen but the game really does end that abruptly.
